Did you also install the Plazmic Theme Reader files. You need these to get the PTB created themes to show up.

We need to know what BB device you are using and what OS is running on that BB.

geemuni, I'm going to have to pass on this. I have never had that error. Have you tried the Cold Reboot (Battery Out, wait 15-30 Sec. Battery back in)?

ive tried that but every time i re-activate the theme, when it is about to go to the screen saver i get that error

I am trying to export my new theme (7100) that I created, but am having some difficulty. I choose export, select the alx format, and the location to export to. however, one of two things happens. eithere the alx format doesn't get sent to the location i selected, or it tries to use another format, which the application loader doesn't like. any ideas?

geemuni, just a thought, try recreating the theme with a different set of Icons unless you're using the default Icons. I have heard of Icons causing a similar problem.

mfritzin, when it doesn't get placed in the folder, do you get an error message? Does the COD file get added to the folder? Have you tried using an empty folder to export the files? When it does appear to go into the correct folder, do you get all 4 files exported?

no, i don't get an error message. it simply is nowhere to be found. i can save the file, but not with the appropriate alx format. sometimes, it doesn't even appear that an export is taking place (i.e. the bars showing that an action is taking place). i'm confused....thanks for getting back with me

could it possibly have something to do with where I'm exporting the file to? I basically made a folder on my desktop for blackberry themes. this is where I've been attempting to export to. then, I would open up the application loader and point to this folder to add the them. this, however, hasn't worked yet

mfritzin, One more question, are you running PTB from an account that has Admin Privs on your PC? If not this may be the cause of your problem. I have had this problem before. If not try from an Admin account.

oh. nevermind...i just realized what is...sorry, it has been a long day. I don't have administrator's rights, if that's what you're asking. Any ideas?

As I said, without using my Admin right's account, I can't export most of the time. Sometime yes, but very, very seldom. If you don't have admin rights, how did you install the program? Do you have access to a separate Admin Rights Account on your machine or is this a work machine.

i can generally download items, but don't have official IT 'admin rights'. If I have this capability, don't you think i should also be able to export?
