I have this on my 7230 too. It asks for a password when I get into that area. I don't know what it's for.

Key stores play a critical role in the function of the digital signature validation of security certificates. Browsing especially i'm not sure if email too maybe someone else can clarify.

When browsing if cirtain sites or data cannot send the certified key then your blackberry will reject the connect. You can overide this by going to
'options' / Key Stores' / and selecting yes to 'Accept Unverified CRLs' (Obviously less secure)

You can find more key info at 'options' / 'certificates' / and then pressing the menu button you can select 'details'.

    Hope that helps a little.
