    Help Needed with Theme Building

I am still working on building themes but whenever I go to export, my homescreen is larger than 60 KB. I used the wallpaper converter and size the pics to 240x260 for my 7100i. So when I use Photoshop to resize the pics should the finished product still be 240x260? If so, I can't get it to work. Bipolar posted some great info on the subject but none of the links work and I was looking forward to his tutorial. Also, any thoughts on getting rid of those two annoying blue lines on the incoming call screen? and can you use any BB icons or do they have to be specifically for your phone model?

Sounds like the file size is to large. Try optimizing the image for a smaller KB @ the same 240x260. I'm not a themes guru, but I moved this thread into the theme dev forum so it will receive a better audience.

You can use the PS "Save for Web" feature of the File menu to save the image as a PNG 8 format then use the custom button to optimize for 60 Kbytes.

    Hope this helps
