Has anyone started making their own library for the BlackBerry API?

I have started a small portion, since I needed it for my program and I was curious if anyone else has done similar.

Dynoplex offers a *very* good one.

But it may be a bit too expensive for amateur developers (several thousand dollars at last check).

We have our own in-house library that we use for all of our software.

Well an api stands for application programming interface. Basically its like a set of tools that you right that provide certain functionality in a program that you don't have to keep writing it over and over for every program. For example to program for the BlackBerry you would use the BlackBerry Api which gives programmers the ability to use the BlackBerry 'screens' or 'menu' or invoke the browser from our own programs.

And the dynoplex person, do you work for them? Or like just proving information?
