ECL Demo and Push Cache issue - Domino
Some time ago Blackberry.com had a demo (RIM told me it was a proof of concept, therefore not supported, when I asked them this question) called ECL(Emergency Contact List). It is basically a copy of the Domino Local Address Book with code wrapped around it to generate simple HTML and then Push it through a BES to a device. Problem is I can't seem to control the Timeout or cache of the app on the BB. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. I'm more Admin. than Developer!!
The latest thing I've tried is to add the following line to the HTTP Header:
protected void establishRequestHeaders(HttpURLConnection con)
con.setRequestProperty("Content-Location", _urlBase + "/HTMLView/" + _docID);
con.setRequestProperty("X-RIM-Push-Channel-ID", _urlBase + "/HTMLView/" + _docID);
con.setRequestProperty("X-RIM-Push-UnRead-Icon-URL", _urlBase + "/ecl_unread_icon.gif");
con.setRequestProperty("X-RIM-Push-Read-Icon-URL", _urlBase + "/ecl_read_icon.gif");

I know this is alitte late in the coming, but I had a similar issue when I was writing an ECL app for my company. Here is how I did my header:
My program was written in .Net but I think you get the idea.
