Create Plazmic themes - Pre-Requisite Guide

Ready to dish out your favorite blackberry theme?!?! But before you start installing Plazmic to create your own themes, you'll need to install the pre-requisites listed below.

Install Java Machine Software, click here.

Install Java 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0, click here.

Install Blackberry Java Development Environment 4.1, click here.

Now you can install Plazmic Content Developer's Kit v4.1, click here.


As time passes by, please check for the latest version for each application.

For some reason I can't log onto the command screen when I am in the simulator. Having problems with this part but my Van Halen theme looks pretty cool...

(actually - as much as I appriciate the compliment - and ooohhhh do I ever!!!! Mr. Megabit has done more than me still, and I personally feel his work is MUCH better than mine. I dunno but it looks more professional. I have never had any graphic art training, its just what I love to do!! Just want to give props where they are due. Had I not seen what a huge difference his themes made on my BB, I prolly wouldnt have bothered. Definitely not to the extent of which I am. Don't get me wrong though - thanks for the praise. It makes the lost sleep worth it!!)

Why is it that when I install a new theme on my Blackberry 7105t that it doesn't want to work? What do I need in order to make this work???

what version of Operating System Software do you have on your BB? You have to have OS 4.1 and have the Plazmic Theme Reader installed in order for your phone to read and use most of the themes that are being posted on here - such as the user created ones I and others have posted.

also - if you are on 4.0 try these. They are pretty much the only ones that should work with the older software...

hopefully it will work for me id like to add to the themes that are on here will definately posat when i get one done, and i look forward to the others creating themes. thanks for the themes and thanks for the info

Can you tell me the how to reboot the BB. Do I just turn it off, or is there a sequence to reboot it?
