    Building theme: Icon placement help

Hi. I'm totally new to the themes building scene but so far its been pretty cool. Now here's my problem. I'm using Plazmic CDK 4.6 to build themes for my 8100 an i cannot for the life of me figure out how the place the app icons in "custom" mode.

I would just like to have my 4-5 most used apps on the bottom of the home screen like the TMO zen.

    Thanks for any help offered.

In Theme Builder click the application ions in the inspector.(2nd one down)

Click the ZEN icon button next to -applications (2nd one across)

Click in the Properties, and select "Use Device Application Order" or click the BB icon to make it a static icon(which can't be changed by the user)

Click "reposition apps", place where you want them. Make sure you leave them in the same order as you created them or your cursor will jump around.

Make sure they are the "zen" icons too.

    heres a screen shot:

Be sure to have the apps in the same order (on the list on the side of the above screen shot) as they are on the home screen so your scroll will work properly. You can hold left mouse and drag the apps up or down on the list.

Ah hahaha! Thanks SO much for the help. Get this, i had the show text box ticked and that's what was throwing me off after i read your instructions and still couldn't figure out what to do. Now the text is gone i can move the icons around without headache. Thanks again guys!

No Problem. If you click "Theme Extras" your app text can be moved around as well.

Not bad but you might what to rearrange the icons to the bottom or maybe a small L shape so you can have a clear view of your home screen pic. I would also change the icons to maybe the bold icons. I have some silver ones that might look good. If you want I can send them to you. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Thanks for that post cb. I didn't know that option existed. I was wondering how to change the icons to a new set I saved.
