That is needed in order for the software to work (short explanation).

    bigdars, welcome to PinStack.

You will also need the Sun MicroSystem Java J2SE Version 1.4 SDK for this to work. You can find that by searching the internet for it.

How can I copy the themes from Blackberry to the desktop computer to edit? I want to edit Flexion but I can't reach to the file(s).

    Happy holidays...

    levent, Welcome to PinStack.

Sorry, It can't be done that way. You can only edit the .thm files using the Plazmic Theme Builder. The thm files have to be compiled to be installed on the BB, and once compiled you can no longer edit them.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

Re: Building Blackberry themes using Plazmic Theme Builder

I have a question on building my theme. I have already built a theme and am finding it quite easy (luckily.) My only problem is that my icons are pictures that i found and all have a white border around them, and that border shows up unless i use a white background. What programs do you use to edit the icon pictures so i just get the image and not the entire photo?

It's the matter of format of the file you save the graphic to. Jpeg doesn't support transparency. Use Gif for that. You'll also have to set transparency options in whatever graphic editing program you use.

Katy, You need to make sure that in what ever Photo Editor you use to set the background to Transparent. I use Photoshop Elements 2.0 and it works just fine. And I'm not sure that jpg format supports transparent backgrounds, so use png or gif.
