    Bouncing icons?

Apologies if this has already been addressed - but how do you get the bouncing icons when making themes in the new Plazmic? I've started to look through it, but haven't been able to figure it out yet.

    Thanks!

When you choose an Icon, look further down and you will see an option: Animation: it will be set to None by default, just dropdown the menu...

Thank you for that - now, dumb question number two . . .

How do you make a screen that is a today plus zen on the right and/or bottom? When I try to do it, all I get is one zen icon underneath my two today icons. That's it.

I suspect I need to do something with the "Alignment" section on the right of the Plazmic screen, but I have yet to be able to figure out exactly how.

Sorry again for the overly basic question - kids want to play and it doesn't give me much time to do trial and error on my own.

    Thanks again!!

Click in the second box down in the inspector field. Click on one of the boxes that you have selected for your homepage icons, then a properties field comes up below and you can modify the way it looks there. Go to icon animation and use the drop down to choose bounce. Do this for each icon you have for your homepage. Hope that helps.

I am working in Theme Builder and I am also trying to figure out how to make an L theme. I have seen people do it, but have not figured out how. I can not figure out alignment. Seems to only be option on Banner not home screen.

Why doesnt my Calendar change like the Messages?

I found that if i use the Custom theme type I can make the L and the bootom or right or Today + icons. You dont need to use alignment - click on reposition icons at bottom of list and then you can position icons where you want them similar to what you can do on the Banner.

Bad thing is the Custom theme type can only be exported to a 4.5 OS where the other theme types work for 4.3 and higher.

Thats why i pointed out asking if you guys are using the custom theme setting...

And yes it is only 4.5 that supports the custom theme types...

    Not true.
Custom themes can be made for Operating Systems as low as 4.2.1
I know this is true because I have accomplished it.

This is from my post on another board. I am running OS 4.3 on a sprint pearl 8130.
