I loved these blackberries. No they don't do what the new ones do but they did 90% of what I use a blackberry for. Battery life was good the held up to a beating and the keyboard was not hard to type on at all

The mighty 7290. My top fav BB ... lotsa excellent memories. A problem solver at a time when the name "smartphone" was meant for geeks...

Yeah, the 8700 was my fave, but I loved my 7290, too.

My only problem with the 8700 (I had 2 of them) was that they keyboard was a little cramped. I have big hands. I loved those spread-out keys on the 7290

My wife just let her 8700 go very reluctantly and complains that she misses how reliable it was

When my son got rid of his 8700 it was more worn out then any phone I think I'd ever seen. The keyboard was a little small on them. I had a 7250 and a 7520. Liked the 7520 better even with it being some much bigger in the back the the 7250. You could almost light a room with those too
