4G, this is going to be a great new Phone. I can't wait for the first hands on reviews for this one. I won't switch carriers for this one so I will have to enjoy through others who use it.

I would be really excited, but no 4G in Phoenix yet. Wonder what it will cost monthly for all the data that thing can suck up! It has great specs though, would be an awesome device to have......and I think buying an extra battery on the spot would be a good idea too

It's going to be an extra $9.99 a month for the 4G.

Thankfully Sprint offers the Sprint unlimited plans. I hope that 4G data is included under that.

I am so excited even without the 4g ready in NY, the Phone, the Price, Man I will be giving it a tryout... Even with the extra $10 bucks its still lower than my Verizon package.

I believe that extra $10 is for the Hotspot data usage.

I was looking into the 4G around me and it appears I won't see it in 2010 and no commitment yet for 2011 from Sprint. It's kind of a bummer to think Verizon & AT&T will more than likely have their LTE in place before Sprint's 4G gets to me.

By then who knows what smart phones will be touting for new features?

I like this guys comment in that link:
But really, why would you buy the phone if it wasn’t for 4G?
How many people bought iPhone 3G with no 3G coverage? lol I think Sprint sets the standard here by allowing the 4G and Hotspot servie to BOTH be optional. kudos!

Actually I'm guessing the Evo will like many other devices will be offered by additional carriers in time. Oh...... How we could start a new rumor with that idea

Edit** I did. I used WiFi while waiting for 3G. It was not an issue. The device can still live with WiFi. It's a much better connection anyway for multiple things.

Yup it will. But lets see how their plans Stack up. I have not seen many close to the $69 everything plan. :/

So I checked out Sprints Everything $69 plan and the ulimited talk is only to other mobile numbers, not landlines. The true Unlimited plan is the Simply Everything plan, which is $99/family $189. I compared that to TMO's Evenmore plus Unlimited talk, text and web plan which is $79/$139 family. If I've got this right, TMO's plans are better?
