Great review of a great device. I'm glad
your enjoying it. I think it's been awhile
since you have been this satified with
    one device.

In-depth review, and I'm glad you posted this. Thanks!
I am upset with the fact you say the battery life sucks. I really wish new devices had better life when texting and/or surfing (a shot at the NEXUS ONE). But all in all, it sounds like a great device. I'm glad to read you are enjoying it.

    Cheers!

You're all welcome. There have been a few glitches and resets involved but in general it feels great not to have to choose which device would meet my needs better for the month. I was going back and forth between a broken Sidekick 3 (trackball problems and a piece of missing chrome) and a SLUGGISH Pearl 8120.

Glad you're liking it. I love having a device that fits my needs no matter what kind of device it is. I flip flop from device to device too so I know the feeling. Keep us informed on how its going.

Back after a few weeks. Due to a signal issue, where the phone would go from 3G to nothing, requiring a restart of the data connection (and T-Moile support chat telling me that it may be awhile before it's corrected which I'm not so sure is correct), I will be back on my 8120 August 9. I loved WinMo and all the customization, etc but the signal issue is too problematic right now. I have had my 8120 on prepaid and have not dropped a signal from edge. I chose this route as the cheaper option rather than replacing a device that is not defective.
