Article: Nokia Ovi Store apps downloaded 160% more than iOS apps
I suppose this is true, the smaller number of Apps available, the more likely the App is to be purchased, however you also have to take into account the number of users, for example there are far fewer people that own a PlayBook to the number of people that own an IPad but there are far more Apps on the IPad so it is a matter of working out the relationship and statistically where it is best to develop. When it comes to smartphones then the options are different, based on the number of IPhones/Nokia Phones/BB/ and Androids will depend on the best place to develop, and therefore the best place to make money. Goes against all the hype that is out there but is logical.
Well worth thinking about if you are a developer rather than going with the heard
