Hold on to your hopes Cat. Infolock is far better, and it's far more customisable, than what you'll get with iOS 5. The new notification bar on the iOS is a very "lite" version of Infolock.

although from what i can read on apple site,it looks like it might do all i want it to do with maybe the exception of "favorites" on the lock screen.

Not only what you see matters. Infolock allows your lock screen to show notifications as well. It can also be your first screen as well. And there extra plug-ins that you can add.
Different functions can be attributed to sliding of your finger up or down. Across the screen, or by touching the header.
The iOS5 which I downloaded on Friday does none of those neat tricks.
... and info is already circling that a jb is on its way.
    From Russia with love...
I'm putting mine back to JB. I hope I can...

^^^^ LOL. No closet here Cats. I love good stuff. I Have the SII, and that one I consider the best. Followed by the HTC Sensation. The i4 is great, I admit. But it's my wife that loves it. Me, I can live with it, no problem.
And you know what I'm gonna get ? I'm trading my original Torch for a new BB9900. That's my "flame" now, regardless of all the OS7 drawbacks. And then the WM7 for Christmas. All this "gives me some right" to talk about all of them, albeit a personal opinion always. Something many people here, can't do...
    And, I'm fickle.
