Maybe its an attempt by RIM to prevent folks from abandoning them....trap their SIM. sorta.

Any who....will "what I say" include the foul words? I'm sure you did say them after all.

Is it the microSD card or the SIM card that is difficult to insert or remove?

Del -- curious about the battery life. The 9700 Bold had the *best* battery I've ever seen. I literally charged it Sunday night and Wed/Thurs with very heavy usage (when I had it on 2G).

I read that the 9900 has a 1200/1250 mAh battery? (vs the 1500 bold 9700 one).

Is the microSD card in a similar place as it is on the 9700? I can see how guys (or gals with short nails) might have trouble removing the microSD card on the 9700.

I really have not seen pictures of the 9900, so I'm not sure about the location of the microSD card.

yes it is in the same spot as the 9700 but it seems to sit a little to low and if you try and remove it with the battery in it will jam into the battery then your stuck cause you won't be able to remove the battery and the sd card you will have to use a small screw driver to push the sd card back in
