The device looks great on paper, maybe they can work out the bugs and offer a viable alternative to the Galaxy and iPad.

^^^^^ Doubt it (but of course, I'm bias). But I do think the Galaxy and iPad are superior and seeing that the PlayBook came out after, there's no reason why it shouldn't be superior to the competition in the market (just my opinion).

I played with a Playbook a couple weeks when I was OfficeMax. I also played with a Galaxy Tab. Those were the only two tablets OfficeMax had. Interestingly, enough, the saleswoman told me the Galaxy Tab was "nothing more than a big Android," and "You wouldn't want one if you already have an Android phone." I never told her if I even owned a smartphone of any type.

Flash sites worked better on the Playbook than on the Galaxy Tab, from my limited experiment with both.

The Playbook needs native email, though, to make it useful.
