Seriously, though, Sprint and Verizon will probably announce a merger in the near future.

If this deal goes through it's what they'll have to do.
I remember years ago, here in Europe, the fusion of various providers into the big shark, Vodafone. There was quite an uproar. But today, Vodafone is a great provider and many others have sprung up to fill the void, surely hoping they'll be taken over as well...

I see ventz is holding a anticipated Christmas party (lol).

At least Vodafone services improved quite a lot.

And this would make me a very happy camper. Verizon has excellent coverage up here, and I'd bet my unlimited would be grandfathered.

They may suck, but its what I got. Besides, the "free" hot spot makes up for it.

So ATT spent $12 million on lobbyist and it failed they Merger is currently blocked, Sprint spent $1.9 million on lobbyist. So where does this $13.9 million go, in whose pockets? Just asking, in 3rd world countries this is called corruption or am I wrong? In the end $12 million didn't help as it was the courts that made the decision.
