    "AT&T is working with RIM to make the BlackBerry Bridge app available for AT&T customers. We have just received the app for testing and before it's made available to AT&T customers we want to ensure it delivers a quality experience for our customers."

    Translation;

    We haven't figured out a way to charge our customers when they thether yet. Stay tuned.

    Is it possible to tether an iPhone to a Wi-Fi only iPad on AT&T without paying for a tethering plan? Would it involve jailbreaking the iPad in addition to jailbreaking the iPhone?

    It is possible to do what you're asking. What you will need to do is jailbreak the iPhone. You don't have to jailbreak the iPad. There are a few different apps that can get you going. When I have a few more minutes I'll post more for you.

    If you need assistance PM me and I'll be happy to help.

    I use MyWi on my jailbroken iPhone 4 to tether to my iPad and Macbook. I can either connect through bluetooth or create a wifi hotspot with my phone. Works like a charm.

    God I hate att so much, I get that every company needs to make money but the nickle and dime route with your customers is really messed up.
