    Apple Senior Marketing VP Phil Schiller reportedly called that "normal," telling one iPhone 5 owner that "any aluminum product may scratch or chip with use, exposing its natural silver color."

    And you're still holding it wrong.....

    Is it me or does Apple seem to blame anything but poor design when it has issues like this.

    You spend money on an expensive device like this and a VP just says suck it up buttercup? Shades of Job's "holding it wrong" comment.

    I'm not a violent man, however I'd consider shoving an iPhone up his rear end iMaps couldn't find it...wait, guess that wouldn't work.
