Apple have had to update a number of Apps to be able to take advantage of the new screen resolution including the browser. Thanks to the new resolution the amount of data you will be downloading on the browser will increase considerably, fine on WiFi, how will this affect your data plans. If you are on 3G how will this affect the page refresh time due to data download? Will people accept this. How does the resolution compare to the IPad2, what are you seeing as a difference, I have read people enjoy better color depth, well according to this review, the AMOLED display will provide better color depth (but will not have the large data transfer problems). It will be interesting to see an indepth review providing differences, adding in the amount of data transferred, the speed, the battery usage, the temperature differences, the perceived vs actual differences in resolution, possible increases in the data plan costs, color depth, camera front and rear quality etc.

People on iPhones or iPads use tons of data anyway, so I don't see it being an issue. Plus, most of us iPhone folk are usually enjoying free wifi at Starbucks; sipping latte's, downloading music, being all artistic and sh*t...

I welcome upgrades, and if my data consumption goes up that initial month I could care less.

The only thing I would like to see Apple do is get rid of the 16Gig models, and move the 32Gig models down and introduce a 128Gig model. That, my Pinstack friends, would be awesome.

Sad that they are so hung up on Starbucks come to Calgary and you'd find coffee shops that sell really good coffee Just normal browsing will use double the data. I do agree a proper size disk would be useful, likely to be the next upgrade so everyone can rush out and spend more money.

Starbucks opened and closed in a short span here. Their coffee sucks... No business. And the ones in Italy are doing just as bad.
