If you take into account that Steve Kovach/ SAI is not at all keyed up on Android you'll accept his choices as the only ones. If like him we also accept that iOS has everything we need, then there are no surprises.
Unlike he him though, we know just a little more, and that makes Droiders always grin.

One comment on the very first "win" for Android: Expandable storage. Some of the newer Android phones (ICS/Jelly Bean) are coming thru without a microSD card, or a place to put one. An example is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. If you're going for an Android phone and an expansion card is important to you, be sure to check the specs. (What ICS did was to partition the internal memory into something that "looks" like external storage to Android and to a PC, but is really internal. Therefore the Nexus has no "USB Mass Storage mode" and this external-like memory does not get a drive mapping when connected to the PC via USB...however, it can be seen in Windows Explorer under 'Mobile Device'. For the most part, this isn't a problem, but there are some applications out there that require a mapped drive letter. For those, no workaround...at least not without rooting)
