No thanks. If this is the tipping point then things are a bit skewed. I'm all for high end performance at an acceptable price, but I'm betting this isn't the device Vodaphone is hoping it would be.

It will do well for Vodafone in Europe. The average client will not spend anything over a 150 euros. If this is the price, regardless of the software it uses (mostly, and thats like over 80% of the clients, don't even know Droid from iOS, Bada, Symbian or whatever), they'll buy it. It will be the substitute of the dumb-phone. And there are, still, zillions of those that need to be thrown away, literally.
    There's no stopping Android...

I'm all for users switching to smartphones, just wonder to what end. If no one cares what's what then what happens when said users start reading pundits who spew words like "fragmentation" and the like?

Suddenly we have users that do care, and on second thought, maybe that's a good thing.

Let's follow this device, see what happens.
