    ios 5.0.1 was nothing more than applegate. they closed the hole in the os that the jailbreakers had discovered...nothing more.

    ^^^ Yes. That's it. I was waiting for a jb to waltz into mine, sooner or later. But you know what ? The wife just plugged it in and updated. I asked "You plugged it in ? Why not OTA then ?" "Uh ? " ... The conversation gets boring after this... Damn.

    I'm on AT$T and did not have any Battery issues to start with but went ahead and did the update. I have not noticed any difference in battery life yet BUT! it's way to soon to tell. It's not even been a day yet.

    So to be fair after my 12 hours work day is over I will return and begin to give an opinion.

    i haven't had any battery issues either. yesterday was a fairly light day but after 15 hours i was only down to 37%. i think i was at around 25% when i went to bed and stuck it on the charger.
    lighten up...life's too short

    Day 2 1/2

    I took my phone off the charger at around 11:30 am and at Midnight It still had 49% left. I used it like I normally do, it was not a light use day nor a heavy one.

    I can't help but wonder if its just a software calibration that's off, not usage.
