Hmmm, $50 for Tom Tom or Google Maps for free....(has offline too)....tough choice.

Add some cash to the $50 and buy a dedicated GPS.

$50? Tough choice indeed. I still think FREE is a bit more expensive than $50. iPhone users, wait for the jailbreak and get all the apps for FREE .

Its a pity TomTom isnt up to it regarding Androids latest OS's. It has to do with the screen resolutions.
But once you use TomTom you do see the great difference in it functions compared to anything out there. And theres no need for stand alone GPS.
    Even compared to Google Navigation.

I don't know fellas... I search for a place and then I follow the line till I get there. Apples first map app was good enough and Googles app is more than I ever need. I have no need for anything else. If all else fails, I can buy a map and use my noggin.

What annoys me about the dedicated GPS devices is to update it costs as much as I paid. Garmin wants $89 for the maps. No thanks.

No. I'm sure it will show up on those sites, but I don't want it.
Only time I pirate is if it expensive and I want to try it longer than 15 minutes. Then I get rid of it, and decide on purchase.

Not up for the headache "for free" gives. Screws up market updates among other issues.

    Besides, Maps works.
I used to have to read paper maps. Becoming a lost skill. Half the tine I don't need turn by turn (,but I have it) I just need to know where the hell something is.

Street view rocks when your somewhere an need a visual on the building. Had to use once.
