About 50 bucks Craig. In my case it´s 14,99. But tha's because I have a recent PC with Win 7. But the news will be all over the net. Just keep your eyes peeled. Or just check-in to HERE
    Edit:
Windows 8 starts at $39.99 (if you’re upgrading from XP, Vista, or Windows 7 before the end of January), so if you do decide to take the plunge, it won’t require a hefty investment.

I'm installing as we speak. Will letcha know. Gonna need another anti-virus program since they didn't update Security Essentials for 8. Why? Dunno.

    Any recommendations for FREE anti-virus?

Kaspersky was also a problem. But one word to them and the problem was solved within the hour.
I just need Toshiba to update the USB 3.0 drivers.
Otherwise Windows 8 is great so far.

Same here. Still making tweaks, but I really like it.
