Wait...let me get this straight...they are combating by lowering their txt plans to the SAME THING that verizon already offers?

Who at ATT is making these decisions?

Trying to beat them would be offering unlimited texting for $10 -- hell, to be realistic, make it $15.
Not going from their jacked up prices to the same cost as another carrier. Good luck "competing".

At last, ATT's GSM being "faster" is something that I am so tired of hearing. I personally hate ATT *and* Verizon, but I've never in my life have seen a slower network than ATT. Yea, maybe if you are in the middle of a corn field with 3G coverage it's fast, but in a normal place like the city or around it, T-Mobile's GSM is faster.

^^^^ AT&T is feeling some competition, it seems, so if you can´t beat them, join them I suppose.
As I said, some wise shopping has to be made here...or as you said, move to the country and the nearest haystack... lol

This is truely ATT problem, they try so hard to just compete, never beat! I have them bc everything else sucks here, but really ATT, come on. Give us something to talk about!

Love the new conference call, limitations on can size may restrict numbers involved, new technology improving on string length (using bungee processing).
