Not a big shocker, wonder if Palm will formally address this news on Monday.

I'm betting HTC will make an effort to purchase Palm for the Patents and WebOS.

On the other hand RIM could also benefit from Pam's Co also.

    Interesting........

Palm would be a decent buy for nearly any smartphone manufacturer. I think their overall problem as of late has been a lack of understanding of what the smartphone community wants. The Pre and Pixi are not bad devices, but their roll-out marketing was horrible and I think that added a lot to their recent sales numbers. Partnering exclusively with Sprint for the launch was mistake #2. However, I could see a company like HTC really turning things around for WebOS based devices.

I would love to see my fav company Lenovo take them over. They did wondered in not being too intrusive with IBM's thinkpad and about the ONLY reason i'm on PC and not Mac.
