Interesting. Might make it more comfortable to fit in one's pocket, but I'm not sure of the practicality of such a phone.

I agree Roger, just don't see it being something we can't live without. Now maybe a curved display for a watch.

Sammy is changing the phablet concept.
From a flat pressing board to a multitasking salad bowl...haute cuisine, obligé!

Am sorry Samsung, but I am soooo happy you didn't do that to the Note 3.

And how come the Note 3 don't have that gesture feature. That seems pretty cool.

    Gimmick.
LG and Sammy are racing to create gimmicks.

The best use would be outside the smartphone market. If it'd be used properly, curving around the edges for notifications or something...maybe.

Otherwise this seems to be a gimmick. Now on a smart watch....

I think everyone knows I support Samsung. I just don't see a practical application for this beyond being a gimmick on a smartphone.

I see tons of other uses, in medical, aeronautics, watches, etc. I can't understand why smart phones are used as a test bed.

I certainly wouldn't run right down and buy one cause it's curved. We all know it's about technology, OS, pricing, etc. well and in some cases size

This is what Samsung comes up with when they try to innovate.

Worthless gimmicky ideas that cost over a thousand off contract.

Now I know why people are upset that Apple isn't innovating because when Samsung tries, it's comical.

Apple doesn't innovate, they buy it so they can pretend to.
