I'm on the same page with Jay here, a lot of uses that aren't related to smartphones. As for smartphones, I don't know. Then again we all thought Blackberries were the end all until 2007, now look where we are.

Yep. Did a little looking around, there are low power touch enabled versions from other developers. One is writable with ability to transfer wirelessly to save. They kind of look like a cylinder that the screen is pulled out from. Think similar to window blinds.

Interesting. Fordable newspapers. Rewritable building plans. Cool stuff.

flexible screens are only the beginning, they are actually working on this technology for clothing, window blinds, walls, sides of buildings.... all sorts of stuff they just need us to fund them with this little mini version first before they can plunge into the great BIG ideas Come on big money, fund a revolution in wall coverings!!!! just wait, before you know it you could have the inside (and outside why not) of your house change colors like a chameleon. mood walls, or be a scene out of a forest or something. could be cool!

BTW wad up RAT and CAT! long time no viddy

I remember saying last night to my wifey last night "Darling. If I could do anything in this world I would want to bend my screen of my smart phone."Oh noI didn't.I hope they do go for the smarter options as highlighted and not to make the iPhone even slimmer.
