I read one article that said a full metal jacket might also mean a non removable battery. If that's the case I say boooooooo.

Exactly. No removable battery and no expandable storage means a no buy.

I just can't see what all the fuss over metal is. Guess I'm odd.

They could certainly make a metal back cover that's removable. I purchased two metal back covers.

    That's what I don't get...Why does a metal back mean it won't come off???

I think the issue with HTC is that its a unibody design. Apparently either the aesthetics or integrity were compromised if allowed to have a back cover.

See, I'm the opposite Jay. I don't see what the fuss is over a removable battery.

Baaah you may be right but I have an LG dumbphone with a removable metal back. Surely the braintrust at Samsung can come up with something that will work. One that won't come off will be a big step backwards....By the way,I love that metal LG and still keep it as a backup.

I was that way too when I had an iphone. My battery very rarely didn't last me the whole day. The S4 dips low and I need to change the battery a couple times a week.

I think part of my issue is control, and that I tend to burn through batteries. I can go through 1 a day. To be fair its dropped since I manage my data connection.

I've been out splitting and killed a battery, as well as traveling. Probably wouldn't be a big deal if I fixed the cigarette lighter again in the jeep.

I use heavily, and sprints crap 3g eats battery when the signal is sparse. I also only get WiFi on Sundays.
