    Very nice review Sam. I've been looking for something to dock my 8900 in while at my desk. I think you just found it.

    Too bad RIM put the charging port so low down on the 8900.....if it was higher like where it was positioned on the 83xx you could charge it while it was in the stand. I guess you still could, but it would have to lay on it's side

    I agree.....would like the charging port higher and on the left side.....much more practical.....nice writeup az.....looks like a great accessory for many phones....I'm always looking for a couple of objects to wedge my BB between while charging.....

    That does kind of make it a deal breaker I guess. Well, until RIM releases something that makes my 8900 look like a RAZR, I'm not switching devices.
