    couple of other notes:

Apple's much-touted iPhone 4S feature, Siri, can let others access your e-mail and texts without having to first hack your password.....only if they have their hands on your phone. to me it makes it sound like someone from China could hack your email...

The prevention, although easy, isn't what everyday users would expect to need....most everyday users don't use a passcode lock. if they do need one i hope they are savvy enough to slide the slider over to turn off Siri while passcode lock is on.

Siri was been heavily marketed by Apple, but some are hugely disappointed with it....come on! they're quoting TJ670 who made a post on apples web site????? it was probably del any way

if i understand you correctly j it doesn't need a passcode to keep it safe. what happens is if you want to set a passcode on your device, you then have an option to allow access to Siri when locked with a passcode. you can also NOT allow access to Siri when locked with a passcode.

LOL, sorry. Tried to type fast. Boss was coming.

But if I did at least I didn't need to enter a passcode. Isn't that like having to buy a girl drinks to get her to talk to you?

lemme see if i can splain it in workin mans terms. they guy that wrote the article was complaining that when someone passcode locks their phone someone else can pick it up and tell Siri to send whomever an email or text. that is true BUT it's the users option. you can allow Siri to be accessed when the phone is passcode locked or you can NOT allow Siri to be accessed when the phone is passcode locked. It's your option.
