Bmay82, if you already have an iPone I think it's an automatic push to your current phone. The operating system is changing and will be pushed to us through iTunes, if your phone is not jailbroken.

Actually you have to subscribe to a developer site - costs about 10 bucks, and you get the upgrades and new Apple iOS Betas as they roll out.
You access http://www.iosactivator.com/, subscribe and follow instructions for download.

They're definitely moving in the right direction with the new iOS. Still liking my jailbreak a little better, though.

Is it free if you wait for the "official" launch in a few months though?

Cause I am cheap cheap cheap. If I know I can get it for free in just a little bit longer, then I can wait. Besides, let you hard core (and I mean that with the deepest respect) phone techs work out the kinks first. :-)

Drasadex, if you like the iOS5 features, you'd definitely like a jailbroken i4. And this from a former BlackBerry diehard. Can't say I'd never go back to BlackBerry, but I'm definitely liking the i4 right now.

I can't wait for these upgrades. I too was a Blackberry diehard, but I'm not looking back now. My iPhone 4 does a lot more than my BB did and I love it.

Question though, wouldn't Apple have to keep at least one hardware button to be able to reboot it if the sw crashes or locks up?

Yeah, Apple will keep a button ! We still need one to switch it on and off.

For you guys on the fence: I did the JB (read my latest article, please) and I assure you it´s no sweat ! Really damn simple. Once you have the i4 JB´d, iOS 5 and all it´s iterations are lame...
