sigh....the lengths people will go, to be at the cutting edge. Though I must say that the idea of camping while you watch a heard of iphone fanboys has its advantages. especially if you meet Cooley there. I would buy an air ticket just for that.
Truly sad!!! For a phone, any phone to be so important in you life that you are willing to sit around waiting for it to appear in a shop window for days would tend to indicate they have a very boring life!! The worst thing is they are proud to be seen on TV, maybe hoping they will be awarded a free I-Phone for their loyalty.
This does not compute. In the first place I hate lines, in the second place I can wait not that I want one or could afford one. These are the fools who will be looking for a bandrupt lawyer sooner than they think unless they change their ways
They have not even said for sure when they will be for sale and people line up. Iphones are okay but there is no way I would stand in line even if I walked up the day they go on sale. Look at the people that will stand in line for the newest air Jordon. If I walked into a store and wanted to pay that much for shoes they better walk for me. Maybe I could send the shoes down to bring home a new phone so I could sit at home. lol
Of how I wish I could be there.
Nothing, I mean NOTHING, would top being in line for days camping out with these folks. Oh the incredible stories I'm sure they have, not to mention body odor.
They could regail me with tales of showing off their shiney new toy, with its incredible innovation. They would tell me how much better another row of icons are, and how a fingerprint scanner is the END all and BE all of tech revolution.
They'd tell me how they've saved up all year to have this, forgetting that they're losing money while camping out. They would ridicule me for having a Galaxy, noting all its shortcomings and how the screen is too wide, its plastic (the 5C buyers will avoid that of course), how it only has a few colors, and how I just bought it cause everyone of my friends have one.
