www.negrielectronics.com or www.mobilecityonline.com are usually good sources for full-price phones.

All the high-end 'Droids on AT&T seem to be in the 199.00 price range except the Note which is 299.00.

Looks like the iPhones are much more expensive than anything else on www.mobilecityonline.com. iPhone 4S 16 GB is $819, and the Samsung i929 Galaxy SII is $699.

The ones I looked at were the "unlocked" devices, not the ones for AT&T, T-Mobile, or other US carriers.

Not sure why that is when they're so close with a contract.

All I can think is that you get what you pay for.

As someone pointed out earlier, iPhones hold their value way better than anything else, which would explain part of the cost difference.

Negri Electronics has the same iPhone for 715.00 by the way.

What you have to give them a Blackberry Torch as well as money for the Iphone, no wonder the Blackberry does so well in the UK
