    And why would I switch?
Talk works fine, kik works fine. Hell there's 100 others. What does BB have that would make me want to switch? Nostalgia?

...Yep. Nostalgia. For app crashes, disappearing buddies, system shutdowns and ultimately, the favourite of all, battery pulls. Even on Android.

The problem with all these 3rd party systems. GTalk, whatsapp,KIK, and so on, is that they aren't integrated into the main SMS system. It's a different app. That's my issue. I don't want a different app. It's one of the best things about Apples iMessage.

This might catch on with the younger crowd, but for people who prefer efficiency, it's just one more thing to keep track of.

Integration. That's the keyword. It's infuriating carrying all these separate apps for the same purpose. I rather hang around gTalk for that. And everybody I care to communicate with are all on it.
