Del, do you think this will, drop on AT&T? It should, if things follow the pattern that they have in the past.

It should, later, maybe November in the US. It´s being launched in Europe by the middle of this month. I was told that by the 16th I should have one to look at...and test!
    Nice chaps HTC!
    It looks awesome, powerful too!
...and I think Pinstack was first with the news! I didn´t see any announcement on any other site. Kudos, if this proves to be true!

Hows your battery life? And was it a pain to root?

I'm not sure of the One X, but from what I've seen and my experience with the 3D, HTC is a pain to root. That dev unlock thing....

Battery life has been surprisingly good. Due to my prior experience with HTC (Evo 3d), I was expecting a lemon, complete with terrible battery life and all. I figured I'd pick it up just to play with for a few weeks, then I'd return it for the S3. Man was I wrong. Battery life is really solid. Up there with the best. And the screen is a show stopper!

As far as rooting, yes there's the extra step of unlocking the bootloader on the HTC website. The instructions are lengthy. I was able to find a shortcut method which bypassed most of the steps. But still, there's no "one click root" method. It wasn't hard, but not as easy as it should be. Its unfortunate too, because you really don't want to be stuck with the annoying Sense overlay. Which I believe is the phone's only weakness. Its broken, and has to be replaced to really enjoy this phone.

The One X+ does indeed look impressive. Quad core, 1GB RAM, 64 GB on board memory. This is the screen size I wish the i5 was.
