One of BBM's biggest draws is security. How secure is Hookt compared to BBM?
Really don't know the answer although Hookt responded that it was secure.
I'll phrase the question in another way. How secure can BBM be if its accessible by these cross platform messenger applications?
I would think that RIM will screen any app that will be downloadable via their App Word. That in itself would give me some peace of mind.

Great point about cross platform BBM. We'll just have to keep digging, that has to be part of the package of any messageing system these days with a 007 behind every tree!
I think I like this guys. I'm with you on the security factor @ Kdaddy
Hey everyone, thanks for all the great feedback! To answer your question, yep, indeed Hookt is secure. We use SSL to encrypt all communication between your phone and our Hookt servers.Let us know if you have any other questions![]()

Nice to see someone come and answer directly. Now I'm tempted to try it.
Reminds me of the Bellshare days.

No power at the moment, running on the charge vault. I'll get it tomorrow.

Grrrr, don't like it hanging out in notifications.
I am particular about that. Uninstalled until its removed. I don't need running apparently showing up when I pull down.
