If it looked like the render then I'd be interested.
Sadly we know it won't be so. Samsung needs to reboot the Galaxy Series. Apparently they are content in copying Apple to the point of growing stale as well.

It seems that kind of fruit has been, is, will be everyone else's staple diet. It's rather tiring.

Watch LG. If they nail the G3 and can get attention then they have a shot. Oh, and fix the ugly UI.

Curious to see what develops with Motorola now.

I predict the S5 flops. It will sell but not as well. Too much bloat.

Talking about LG. That new LG that bends and all, geez that's one fugly smartphone. That curvature distorts pictures as well. I thought it would be better...ok, that UI doesn't help either, but geez, the Sammies looks polished compared to that crap. The thing lost the left bezel button to switch it on the minute I touched it. I'm not surprised though. I always have had the idea that LG stood for Load of Goo. I haven't changed my mind.
    That's my two cents.

If someone had said that to you 6 to 9 months ago it would have been a full out war.

Del: Good points but LG looks to be actually trying.

Cat: Yeah, I know. Sadly it took the Knox Bootloader to sour me. I like Samsung's hardware but the software has worn me thin. Finding an AOSP ROM that is fully functional is too much hassle. Mainly Knox though.
Sammy keeps bumping up specs but they have too. Touchwiz is just too big, needs the bump. If they would trim it down and adhere to AOSP standards then the devices would be much better.

I like LG. The G2 is nice, if not ugly as hell in the software dept. Its not loaded down. I just prefer AOSP...

Getting to the point where I don't really care anymore, me S4 is blazing fast with 4.4.2 KitKat LiquidSmooth Rom. There are so many more important and better things to spend my money on than an upgrade.

Good one Craig. I'm like that too. I'm putting the money I would spend on smartphones towards a couple of tooth implants.

That render looks nice but, it won't happen. As always, I'll upgrade very year. After all, it's only money. You can't take it with you.

The S5 won't flop. It'll be a hit. At this point, no other manufacture has a chance this year. It's a two horse race. What I think can happen this year is a shift of Android following in 2015. It could be LGs time to reign in 2015. They'll have to bring a great device this year to combat the S5. Right now, as far as the public is concerned, if you're getting "the" Android. It's the S4,soon to be the S5.
