Yeah, seems excessive to me. Granted it's only .8 inches larger than the current iteration and if done right might not be so noticeable, but the Note as it stands is a beast!

I think this one is just about as big as I'd like to carry, but, when it comes to smartphones, I've learned never to say never.

Case has a upgrade due in October and I have one in January. She's expressed some interest in the note. We looked at the size the other day and she was a little put off by its size. Personally I'd rather go fir a tablet once you get to 5".

Yeah, I can see the size of the Note being an issue for a woman.

I think 6 is too big to be called a phone or phablet. Tabs currently start at 7. The lines are going to begin to be blurred at some point. Just add the phone feature to a tab and use Bluetooth. Can't see why but I'm just saying...

That Jay was what a Samsung did a couple of years ago with the first 8" pad. It had cellular and everybody thought they were nuts...
Looks like the haters of the Note when it first came out (remember BGR, SAI and the lot of them that thought 3.5" was the best) first joked of having a iron or a board stuck to your face?
I wonder where they are now. These same people will admit that bigger is better.
Now we should say there should be a limit to the size of a smartphone. 5" is the limit I think.
Bigger than that and it should be called a surfboard.
    Just saying...
