    Ask Me
Bit like OnStar which is on all GM cars in the US, notifies emergency services of your location in the case of an accident and calls and asks you if you are ok? Also has an emergency SOS button you can push. It is now available for retrofitting, works on Verizon. Have it on both of my cars, it is quite useful, gives me a monthly update of the engine diagnostics by e-mail, although I cancelled the voice guided navigation service. The new version can even turn stop the car and notify the police if it has been stolen. You can also call them up to unlock your car (with a code word) if you have left your key inside. Enough of the advertisement, but it is pretty useful. Ford has it's own version.
