    I suspect that much of the gains by Safari are due to use on mobile devices, not computers. Opera also might be stabilizing due to its ability to run on mobile devices.

    I would expect IE to drop off, since it only runs on Windows.

    Safari would probably not fare as well if not for iDevices, since Windows users generally do not use Safari, and Linux users cannot use it.

    It would be interesting to see how the browsers compare when only desktop/laptop computers are taken into consideration and how the browser compare when only smartphones/tablets are taken into consideration.

    Yep Laura. I´ve been looking for that comparison. Smartphones have shifted the stats. Particularly regarding Safari usage.

    I'd say smartphones/tablets have more affect on Safari usage than Chrome usage, since Chrome runs on Windows, OS X, and Linux, so a lot more computer users run Chrome than Safari.
