    I'm glad this is posted Mark. This is commonly misunderstood and I hope the readers can use this information. I'll even give this a bump in a month just so people can get a chance to read this.
    I didn't know the memory leak problem was fixed (or semi-fixed) on OS 5. I know I'm using OS 6 and memory leak still happens but it is minimal. I just assumed it wasn't happening because I don't use the device heavily. Good for RIM for getting at that issue.
