The first smartphone has admittedly met the first profession. Over a bottle of Vodka. Took a long time. Nice.

Blackberry: When pin sexting is safer than the real thing.

Blackberry, stroke our keys, not her knees.

Blackberry, did that bulge just ring?

Poor RIM. The only endorsement they can get is from a colombian hooker.

    A " key" endorsement? A "hooker"? RIM is Nextel|Done "beep,beep".

C'mon guys don't hype this. It just means BB's are for all. Not like others which are for a select few...
I don't blame the hooker. She needs an efficient Client, PIM and Calendar app for her business...
    Lighten up.

Sounds like my kind of gal.

I wonder if I can hire her for dushs birthday... I can slip her a $20 and he can watch her perform a battery pull on his Blackberry.

RIM haven't hyped their major endorsement from the President of the USA, he still uses his Blackberry, and it has been approved security wise!! Maybe that's why the Colombian "Escort" likes them, security all the way!! You may also want to look at the number of Hollywood/music stars "celebs" that use blackberries you would find it surprising.

Actually, there was a discussion about this incident on a local talk show. Prostitution is legal in Columbia. The reason the Secret Service agents got in trouble has everything to do with security, which is probably the reason the lady in the "world's oldest profession" also uses BlackBerry.

The agent refused to pay her. She had information that could be used to blackmail him, which would put US national security at risk, and embarrass the US government. A former Army soldier who worked in an Army division that no longer exists, but did in the 60s, called up and said that one of the things in his training was to not get into any compromising situation that could involve potential blackmail and embarrassment to the US government.

I posted the article because I did think it sounded funny. However, a lot of Hollywood stars probably make similar comments about their BlackBerries.

^^^ It was and is funny Laura!! Your comment on blackmail is completely true, there have been a number of scandals in the UK involving politicians and various sex problems along with spies and blackmail.

Honestly, of you are going to argue over $60 with a call girl, doubt blackmail was a concern. Prostitutes aren't known for being low key when they don't get paid.
Was 2 guys who shared her. Theycalso wanted to share the tab, she wasn't having any of that. Guess its a downside to prostitution being legal, they can call the cops. Guess they shouldn't have stiffed her.

    Pun intended.

From the news I was watching the lady in question asked for $800 that they had agreed upon the night before (when the guy was drunk), he must have been really drunk!! He offered a much lower sum of money the next morning. A contract is a contract!! To be honest there are a lot of upsides to prostitution being legal, the government can tax them, medical history can be controlled and it should stop the exploitation.

People will look at the problem and depending on the moral attitudes will make judgements, in the end the if the guys were not there sorting out security for the President, and if they had not signed contracts specifically mentioning what they should or should not do, this would not or rather should not make the press. It is up to an individual, if that individual breaks the contract then it should be dealt with according to the law. In this case there were security issues involved and the safety of a world leader, thankfully it was not an issue, but yes these guys should be dealt with by their superiors.
