RIM really needs to fix this problem. It is almost as if they are telling customers to get the new iPhone4S. Right now, RIM is doing a better job of marketing for Apple than Apple itself.

^^^you can say that again. Here I am with two BB's to try out and review, and although I've run everything on them I'm still waiting for BIS from RIM to test, essentially, the browser...and I can't. Damn frustrating...

Yeah, all my BES users are down - NY, London, HK/BJ & Tokyo. Those still running the Desktop manager get messages while plugged in, but unplugged, no joy.The gmail app works fine, as does the phone of course. My personal BB is in the same boat. no email since about 4:30am EST.

Whoever has iSync from Google installed still manages to get Mail on GMail, and the calendars and contacts synced. But I believe its done via WAP. BIS/BES are down and out for the count.

I just got about 32 e-mails. Not sure if we're back up for good or not.

Got an email about blackberries not getting emails . Oh the irony. I remember RIM's only defense about Droids and Apple devices that the email service was not as fast/efficient/advanced as theirs. So advanced that something like this happened...Give it up RIM and sell your company while it's still $20 or so per stock now to Symbian or Windoh's if they're willing to give you a milli for your silly phone company.

    Epic Fail!!
