    And how many apps in the market wont run on gingerbread?

    Would be more interesting if the average users were screaming and crying for 4.2.

    Of course apples iPhones are mostly the same as far as internals, with mild cpu bumps and ram bumps. Android devices can vary wildly.

    Fragmentation is a bloggers buzzword to appease Apple fans and make them feel as if their os isn't dated and becoming stale.

    Yes I have 4.2, and I can think of only 2-3 apps out of 200 that wont work on 2.3 thar I have. I know of only 1-2 features that haven't been ported either in ROMs or apps.
