Amazing yes, I agree. But I still favor above ground, natural light. I wouldn't fancy spending hours in a hole, regardless of all the modcons on offer.
I spent a few hours in offices built deep in South African mines doing economical reports and stock checkups, in (at the time) optimal offices and I couldn't wait to get out of there as fast as I could.
That's me. Claustrophobic...
I settled to do my CA internship in a yoghurt factory.
Well I like rocks, and design wise it is pretty amazing. I can see claustrophobic feelings though, power cuts would be a problem, although they probably have a generator
1. I like rocks too. Porto is a granite built city. My home, which I had built is 80% granite. Outdide facade and structure.
But its above ground...
2. The Boers in South Africa are called Rocks by the rest of the population. They're a bit dense, but affable folks...
That is really amazing I think it would be cool to work or just visit. My wife is a rock freak so I'm sure she would just love it period
Looks awesome, but I think I'd get claustrophobic.
I prefer a more rustic look.
Awesome Del...could we see some snapshots of your house?
