Rogers Bold 9700

Roger's Bold 9700 is now available. I just ordered my new one this morning. I am so excited for the Bold to arrive. For anyone interested, the CSR told me they have just discounted the Bold 9000 to $99.00 and it's also available in White.

Thought you were getting an AT&T branded one?

They were unable to replace it. I will be using the T-Mo unit till the AT&T is released from what it looks like. The T-Mo unit has kinda grown on me but would rather have one that does the VVM and 3G. They did tell me I could keep the T-Mo model or sell it where at first were talking about me trading it back when they gave me the ATT unit. SO I will wipe this one and sell it

Rogers units should be compatible as they use the same 3G bands as AT&T.

I activated my 9700 today on Bell. I have had it with Rogers, I was counting down the days for Bell to launch the new network, and I can say the device is great, the network fast and the service is awesome! Today I moved all company phones to Bell and cut our costs by 56%. Rogers' strangle hold on international travellers who need sim cards is over.

Well I had my new Bold 9700 for 2 days now. I hate it........it's way to small. I just can't get used to the small phone. It also to me does not feel as sturdy and classy as the 9000. So I sent it back and I am debating on what to get. Maybe an iPhone or maybe the White 9000. Anyways good luck to all who like the 9700, it just wasn't for me.

Cheers,

Kimberlee

How long did it take for you to receive the device from the time you ordered it?

I ordered my Bold 9700 on Tuesday and had in Wednesay morning. That was pretty quick service. I'm leaning toward getting the White 9000, but does anyone know if the Storm 2 from Bell or Telus will work on the Rogers network, more specifcally the 3g.
