Tour charging pod, the few other cell phone stores that do have them are based in china and out of stock. haha. but Amazon has it. my brother has a Tour and just got his, it's just as awesome as my Bold's charging pod. Great quality.

Most importantly save wear and tear on your USB port. Don't risk tearing it from the motherboard by plugging into the wall.

So the 2 chrome pices on the back of the Tour connect to the battery?? That makes me worry about setting my phone down on a metal surface like a car or even loose change in my pocket touching both termanals.

I have one, works just fine. Had one for my Curve before, no issues with either. Would like a powerstation though. Liked the one for the Curve that you could charge the unit, the bluetooth and a spare battery all at the same time. Guess it's coming for the Tour is just a matter of time.

Yeah saves wear and tear on the charging port. Meeko don't worry about it. You can't short anything out. I think the engineers at RIM have already thought of this. LOL

Not bad price, but I'm looking for a muti pod charger, That does your phone plus battery at the same time. Has anyone found one yet???

To answer your question, I wouldn't worry about it! Ive never had a problem with it contacting change in my pocket or anything :-p I wouldnt go and connect a wire from one terminal to the other now

What the pod? CNN is cool but they take 3-4 weeks to ship. (they're in china) not only that, isn't the pod i linked only $11 or $14? lol
