    Sprint Tour Network ?

For those that have the tour with Sprint or for that case verizon, how quickly will the phone actually switch to a gsm signal if it can't get a good cdma signal? Will the phone hold onto 1 bar of cdma or can you control the actual network its working off of? I ask because at home I have no EV service on sprint but occassionally it will roam on an EV network with a strong signal. I want to know if I can control the networks. Thanks in advance.

The only way for the Tour to switch to a GSM network is if you have a SIM card from another network inserted, and the phone is unlocked. You can manually control CDMA or GSM under the mobile network menu. If your switching to roam, you may want to update your PRL(Preferred Roaming List). Not sure if its the same, but with Cellular South its *228 send.
